They use layered guitars with delays and reverb, waves of percussion and field recordings of natural sounds to create hypnotic, textured, tonal soundscapes.

Figure Ground craft a unique sound that blends elements of ambient, shoegaze, post-rock and neoclassical music, echoing the sounds of Slowdive, Bluetile Lounge and Stars of the Lid.
